We are seeking an exceptional and experienced General Manager to oversee the overall operations and management of our estate, an ultra-luxury 80-acre estate with exquisite amenities and extensive facilities. The General Manager will be responsible for delivering unparalleled guest experiences, maintaining the highest standards of luxury, and ensuring the seamless functioning of all aspects of the estate.
1. Operations Management:
– Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the estate, including all buildings, stable, gardens, and agricultural areas.
– Ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources, staff, and facilities to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
– Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain the highest level of service and luxury throughout the estate.
– Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
– Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled team of staff across various departments, including hospitality, maintenance, agriculture, and event management.
– Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, inspiring and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
– Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance team members‘ skills and performance.
– Conduct regular performance evaluations, recognizing outstanding contributions and addressing any performance issues proactively.
Guest Experience Management:
– Ensure that every guest receives a personalized, memorable, and luxurious experience throughout their stay at Paradise Estate.
– Oversee the implementation of guest satisfaction programs and quality control measures to continually enhance guest experiences.
– Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, striving to exceed their expectations and maintain a strong reputation for excellence.
– Stay updated with industry trends, guest preferences, and emerging luxury experiences, incorporating them into the estate’s offerings to ensure continued innovation and guest satisfaction.
– Develop and manage the estate’s annual budget, forecasting revenue and expenses, and ensuring financial targets are met.
Implement cost control measures without compromising the quality of services and guest experiences.
– Monitor financial performance, prepare regular financial reports, and provide strategic recommendations to maximize profitability.
– Establish strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to negotiate favorable contracts and pricing.
Property Maintenance and Security:
– Oversee property maintenance, landscaping, and security to ensure the estate’s pristine appearance and functionality.
– Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to guests‘ experiences.
– Implement and enforce stringent security measures to safeguard the estate, guests, and staff.
– Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
– Valid driver’s license.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the luxury hospitality industry, with a focus on agriculture management and catering to ultra-high net worth guests.
– Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse team, including farmers, gardeners, butchers, and chefs.
– Experience in overseeing agricultural operations, including crop cultivation, orchard management, and livestock care.
– Excellent understanding of organic farming practices and sustainable agricultural methods.
– Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality protocols and standards when serving ultra-high net worth guests.
– Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff members.
– Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
– Sound financial acumen and ability to analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and make strategic decisions.
– In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality industry trends, best practices, and guest expectations.
– Proficiency in relevant software applications and property management systems.
Annual salary of 50,000 euros, commensurate with experience.
